Debbie Lynn Ply, age 51, of Clarksville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Debbie was born in Harrison, Arkansas on June 8, 1962 to Donald and Mildred (McCutcheon) Lively.

Debbie was employed by the Lead Hill School where she served as the school counselor. Debbie held a Masters Degree in Counseling and a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. Debbie had also worked for the Cotter and Yellville Schools.

She was a 1980 Graduate of Western Grove School where she was an outstanding basketball player, she also played ball for North Arkansas Community College.

Debbie loved the outdoors, whether floating the rivers in the area, or just sitting outside soaking up the sun.

Debbie is survived by her father and step-mother, Donald and Jerry Lively of Bass, Arkansas;

her mother, Mildred Rains of Harrison, Arkansas; her children: Tisha, Shawn, Katie, and B.J.; her close friend Larry Moore of Clarksville, Arkansas;

one brother, Dorvin Lively and his wife, Leigh Ellen, of West Lake, Texas;

two sisters: Donna Jameson and her husband, Ken, of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Dena Roberts and her husband, Billy Joe, of Harrison, Arkansas.

Also surviving are three grandchildren: Karlie, Tristan, and Kelby;

five nieces: Megan Jameson, Jessica Lively, Lindsay Lively, Emily Roberts, Erin Roberts;

two nephews: Christopher Robertson, and Jarrod Lively.

Debbie was preceded in death by her husband; Billy Ply and her step-father, Arlin Rains.

Visitation will be Monday, April 7, 2014 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.

Funeral service will Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Ed Beaulieu officiating.

Interment will follow at Patton Cemetery in Pyatt, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Ply, B.J. Ply, Larry Rhodes, Mack Cook, Dale Tennison, and Christopher Robertson.

Honorary pallbearers will be students and staff of the schools where she worked during her career.

Memorials may be made to Burns Funeral Home which will be distributed to the local schools to be used for scholarships for students.
