Harry L. Bryan

Harry L. Bryan died March 18, 2014, in Vallejo. He was born June 26, 1940, to Harry L. and Edna Bryan in Ely, Nev.

Harry attended Napa High School and Napa Valley College. He joined the Army, serving from 1959 to 1961, and later became self-employed as a building contractor. He enjoyed fishing, fishing and fishing.

He was the best husband, father, father-in-law, "Papa" and "Big Papa" in the world. He gave to all he touched and made a difference in their lives. He and his family are proud of that, and he will be greatly missed.

Mr. Bryan is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Lou Bryan; son William (Tina) Bryan; daughters Darla (Michael) Harrison and Mary (Rich) Harbison; grandchildren Malissa and Josh Zimmer, Makayla and Ace Branco, Macy Jo Harrison, Kristina, Emily and Billy Harbison, and Hannah and Harry Bryan; great-grandchildren Koa and Lou Lou Branco; sister Ardean (Terry) Alexander; brother William (Lynett) Bryan; and many, many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Edna Bryan.

A memorial service at Tulocay Cemetery Chapel will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 3 p.m. Memorial gifts to DeVita Dialysis Center (DeVita.com) would be appreciated.
