Clinton Leonard Essig

Clinton Leonard Essig of Littleton, Colorado, lost his battle with cancer just four days after his 60th birthday and nearly four months after he lost his wife of 27 years, Gloria Essig.

Clinton was preceded in death not only by his wife, but also by his daughter Kayla. He is survived by his parents Leonard and Katherine Essig, his sister Cynthia Marschner, sons Jeremiah, Christopher, David, Dominic, and Patrick, and his grandsons Kory, Dakota, Dylon, and Christian.

Clinton was easily recognized by his tall lanky structure, unmistakable smile, and paint speckled glasses. He served the Denver metro area as a painter for the Denver Housing Authority for 31 years and will be held in the highest regard for his compassion, humor, and integrity. He will always be remembered by his family, friends, and coworkers.

Services will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, December 21st, 2013 at The Rock Church (10393 W. Alamo Place, Littleton, CO 80127). A reception will immediately follow at The Rock Church. Private family interment at St.Vrain Cemetery in Avondale, CO.
