Throughout her life she has lived in Germany, South Dakota, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and eventually settled in Carter Lake, Iowa, where she then married Jack Levell and together they raised four kids: Antoinette (LeBeau) Sackett, Lucille (Lebeau) Briggs, Jack Levell II, and Melissa (Levell) Sapienza. In the later years, she traveled in her motor home every August back to her home in South Dakota to visit her family. She also enjoyed visiting Deadwood every year with her daughters and sister. Over the last of couple years she had taken a liking to going on cruise ships to see the world with her children. Together they visited Alaska, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and Mexico.

Her hobbies included playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, arguing with her grandson Jacky, and in the summer she was always out in the garden planting more flowers. Most of all she enjoyed being surrounded by her family. She was loved by many and she always welcomed guests into her home where the coffee was always on.
