Robert Clint Patterson, 76 of Green River, Wyoming passed away on March 15, 2014 in Rock Springs, Wyoming surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness.

He was born on November 24, 1937 in Vernal, Utah to Sarah Ellen Patterson Atwood and Elmer Patterson.

He served in the U.S. Army from December 1, 1954 to September 12, 1957.

He married Sharon Webb on February 1, 1958 in Vernal, Utah.

He worked as a Truck Driver for 38 years before his retirement.

Together with his wife Sharon they built, owned and operated Antique Acres Boarding Stable in Draper, Utah for 42 years. He had a passion for working with horses. He served in numerous positions in the Advancement of Equestrian activities and promotions in the Draper area. Over the years he had become quite accomplished at team-penning receiving many awards. Together with his wife Sharon they moved to Green River, Wyoming in September 2013 to be closer to their family.

Survived by his loving wife of 56 years Sharon. One son Dale Patterson and partner Debbie Mortimer. One daughter Tari Behrman and husband Steve, 2 grand children Bobby Patterson and wife Trisha. Christina McCormick and husband Andrew. 2 Great-Grand children Ashlyn McCormick and Keegan Patterson. And his beloved companion Barney.

He was proceded in death by his parents Sarah Ellen & Larvin Atwood. One brother Denny Williams.

A Celebration of his life will be held Sunday, March 23rd from 2-5pm at The Eagles in Green River. Military Honors will take place at the Eagles in Green River, Wyoming. The family respectfully requests that no flowers are sent.
